I asked a dealer on Saturday about my CB5.

would he take it in Part Ex on a new bike,

W reg, 2000 model CB500s. Good condition but 14 000 miles.

He checked Glass' and said a similar bike with 7 000 miles would be priced for a private sale at around £2500

Sounds OK to me, maybe even a bit cheaper than I'd expect. I assume all the paintwork etc. is unmarked

Probably a bit late

but just to say ive seen 98 bikes with the same sort of spec, and mileages going for around the £1,700-£2,000. Its definitely worth at look!! If its at a dealers at that price then rip their arm off
