There are strict criteria where cameras can be placed, and that isn't one of the criteria!
- FIXED CAMERAS are placed where there have been at least fourcrashes involving death or serious injury and/or at least eight injury crashes in the past three years where speed was a main cause.
- MOBILE CAMERAS along stretches of road where there have been twocrashes involving death or serious injury and/or four crashes involving people being hurt, in the past three years where speed was a main cause.
- DIGITAL CAMERAS over longer stretches of road where there have been six crashes involving death or serious injury and/or 12 crashes where people have been hurt in the last three years where speed was a main cause
- CAMERAS AT TRAFFIC SIGNALS are placed where there have been at least two crashes resulting in death or serious injury and/or at least four crashes involving people being hurt, where jumping the light was a factor.
Do they honestly believe this shite that they write?
Does this only apply to Avon and Somerset
