Looking to go out and take the children - teenagers - and looking for a pub where we can get some grub and a game of pool either in or near Peterborough.

Anyone got any recomendations?

I have tried looking in yellow pages, other internet sites etc but have draw a blank

Interested to hear the results here. I've been thinking about a visit to P'boro (my home town) sometime soon. I'm a bit out of touch; haven't lived there for donkey's years. The Gordon Arms on Oundle Road? Although I think the nicest pubs are north of the city; Helpston, Glinton way.

There's quite as few VD'ers from the area I'm sure.

Both

Apparently THE worst place for inbreeding is actually King's Lynn, which is conveniently in between the two.

Civilisation, as far as East Anglia is concerned, lies south of the A14

Depends which side of the town you want.

The Wheatsheaf on Eastfield Rd does nice gru and has A table. there's also Breaks right nearby which is a pool/snooker club with food and drink too. Also there's a Breaks club in Orton southgate. Not sure if you can get in without being a member, I always go with someone who is; don't think it's costly to join..

My second favourite thing about motorcycling is crashing:

DD 2007 1: KSI, and a free ride in a helicopter (Write off)
A,A,A 2006 3: (straight line 'WTF', Ice, New Tyres + gravel)
A 2005 1: Mud.
A 2004 1: Snow.
2003 0!!!!: (how did I manage that one)
B 2002 1: Who put that roundabout there?
A 2001 1: Who put that corner there?
A 2000 1: What does THIS button
