The battery on my GS has had it by the looks of things so i need to find somewhere local-ish to get one, Halfrauds are basically fucking useless for anything bike related and i've been a bit hesitant to travel around as i need to bumpstart the bike every time i stop anywhere.

Anyone know of a bike shop near Catford that might have a half decent stock of batteries?

They've moved

I’m not allowed to have any of these as my avatar, so here they are on my sig instead. However, I now can't add any new ones

Did you ever hear anyone say “That picture had better be banned, because I might look at it and it might be very damaging to me”

Nothing normally, until it comes to wanting something delivered, the last 3 times i've ordered something online it's ended up taking weeks to get here, it's starting to look like i might have to take that risk though, i'm waiting to find out if work will let me have one delivered there if possible.

It's a Suzuki GS500, i should have mentioned that properly from the start, never realised there was a bike place round that way though, i'll try to buzz by later if i can get away from work early, nice one.

Annoying thing is this time last year i could have walked to Comptons about 2 mins up the road and they would've sorted it for me, unfortunately like so many others they closed down and the couple that are left didn't exactly give me a great 1st impression so don't really want to give them my money, sounds daft considering the situation i'm in but i'm quite stubborn like that.

you worn out your bike alreadee fredee, bloody hell you only passed your test a week ago.

you might be stubborn fredee but your right go with your instincts. it is a pain when a bike shop shuts and you have to start again biulding relationships with another shop, but what can you do? still enjoying your new found freedom then?

Hah, unfortunately i seem to have this really good knack of buying bikes that always need something repairing, no exception with this one although this time it's only silly stuff compared to the Aprilia that now sits in a million bits around my house!

This battery prob has held me back a bit since passing so only been staying local and doing the work run, looking forward to going out on a few longer blasts though, once the weather makes it's mind up what it wants to do!
