does it all fit properly ?
if the lid is not the right size it is more of a danger to you.

Are you an American or are you British?

The difference will be you being a cunt or an arse.

What's wrong with riding in winter? Okay it's cold but if you got decent gear then that'll not be a problem. If the weather conditions are dodgy then either don't ride or don't go round the corner really really fast. It's not difficult, I passed my CBT in horrendous rain and rode to Anglesey a couple of weeks later in a gale. So either you have to worship me or admit it's not all that hard.

Riding in winter is joyless, dangerous, slow and your bike rots.

I didn't have a car for years and I was a despatch rider for a year including a winter.

I don't do it much these days.

Why do people (and small cartoon horses) state opinions as if they were facts?

It does irk one.

As long as all the gear fits (like a glove !!), it sounds a good deal, i have the de-tuned skinny brother of the Hornet (CBF600N) and i ride to work all year round, winter is fine, just make sure that when the weather really comes down bad you leave the bike at home and either catch a lift or god forbid...... get public transport.

With good kit theres no problem at all with winter riding the exception being ice depending on your route.

But its something you endure - I did a 100 mile a day commute for 2 years by bike 'cause a it was my only form of transport, now I've got a car I'm only cold for 2 minutes till the heater kicks in & dont have to spend 2 hours warming up & drying kit.

Wells luckily he is the same build as me and the helmet fits perfectly, nice to see the characters are out tonight, so does it sound reasonable to you people price wise... and as for winter riding my view is do it... but just slower in certain conditions, some people said wait untill the summer but it will just be winter agin next year so why not just go for it this year?

Difficult to say without knowing more about the bike. In particular it may look pristine because it was binned and repair under insurance. And we know nothing about how the previous owner (not your mate, the one before that) treated it.

As for riding during winter, I would have preferred a faired bike with a modicum of screen protection. But then it all depends how fast you're going: wind blast at 40(mph) is not quite the same as at 100.
