Alfa Romeo produce a Casey Stoner Ducati Corse special edition???? Why???? It's a f**king diesel for F's sake! Has the world gone mad. Might as well have a special edition fridge or a Rossi replica hoover!

It's a 170bhp car, why is the fuel type significant?

One thing is for certain, it does have traction control.

Because I have a diesel car and it revs to about 5k. It is not sporty at all. And why would you be more likely to to be swayed by a Casey Stoner special eddition Ducati hatchback? Wouldn't it make youy want to buy a Ducati instead?

I've got a diesel powered car and that isn't sporty either but then it's the size of a small planet.

Audi won at LeMans this year with a diesel powered car.  Is that not sporty enough?

Diesel cars compete and win in Touring cars.  What determines whether a car is sporty?
