For sale is a 1997 P reg Yamaha Sr125 learner legal bike.
It has been off the road for about a year and a half waiting for my other half to start learning on it, I have finally realised that this is never going to happen so I am selling it in order to fund an outboard for my new boat!!
Whilst it has been off the road I have done the following:
Oil/filter change
New Air Filter
New spark plug
New Clutch plates
Rebuilt the front brake with new seals and renewed brake fluid, new pads fitted
Stripped rear brake and re-greased (it was starting to stick)
Stripped and cleaned the carb
Fitted a new battery
The bike starts and runs absolutely fine. It is in reasonable condition with a few minor marks (the worst being on the petrol tank) It is still a nice looking bike, and is likely to give years of trouble free use!
There is no MOT on the bike, if it doesn't sell then will give it an MOT and then re-advertise (for more money!) I can honestly put my hand on my heart and say there is nothing that I know of which the bike would fail it's MOT on.
