This is a K1 1000 that I have owned since 2006 and is used as my Wet Bike
Ideal sweet handling bike as your main ride; or to have lined up ready to go instead of constantly changing wheels or tyres in this (ahem!) unpredictable summer :
It hasn't been used in anger since 2010 due to a personal accident - I'm unlikely to ride again (Wife pressure) and it's time to move it on to someone who will benefit from it. It's in very good mechanical condition, starts on the button without fail and retains a side stand and standard clocks with working speedo. It has had recent oil and filter and a new battery fitted
Spec is as follows:
Standard Engine dynoed at 155bhp
Sigma Slipper Clutch fitted
Full Akropovic Race exhaust system and carbon exhaust hanger
Wavy Discs, Nissan radial Master Cylinder, Nissan Calipers & Goodridge braided lines
K-Tech 20mm fork cartridge kit
Maxton rear shock
Edison adjustable rear sets
Sprint Pro-Ace top yoke mounted adjustable steering damper
Harris fairing bracket. Race bodywork -Tidy enough but with some scrapes
Carbon frame protectors. R&G crash bobbins and bar end weights
Front and Rear paddock stands are included.
The bike has a Power Commander (Serial model) fitted but I had to disconnect it because the bike failed to start one day. Don't know if it needs a map re-installing (have cables and disc) or it has failed completely.
I also have some bits and pieces such as scrub tyres, a spare rear wheel, alternative 520 section sprockets, another (scruffy) race bodywork and mudguard kit, original fairing bracket etc.all to go with it
The previous owner built it from a road bike so it has a reg plate but I never applied for the V5 so you could get a daytime V5 but has never been SORN-ed.
