Bought this FJ early this year as me and the lady decdied we wanted to tour italy and france. We got the bike club registered, and dropped it off with the club workshop for a full rebuild.
Rebuild included ( Progressive springs up front, Hagon rear shock, heavy duty chain and sprockets, 2x pirreilli demons, FULL strip and rebuild on all servicable parts, ALL bearings fluids and filters replaced, the works ) The work was carried out by the club owner to a cost of a whopping ( £1300 ) which is all fully documented and recipted. The work was only carried out in April this year, then the bike was treated to a touring screen, a full givi set up including rack, side panniers and top box, a magnetic tank bag and heated grips...
Once touring was complete (in the last 2 weeks of july this year) the bike was put into storage and hasnt moved since, av got loads on my plate at the minute so I would like to offer her up for sale
The bike covered a rather impressive 3750 miles in less than 2 weeks without fault, she rode fantastic blitzing her way through the likes of calis, bordaeux, mont blanc, montpellier, grenoble, nice, cannes, torino italy, milan, back to monaco THE LOT. Fully loaded and 2 up and she was still good for 140 ...

I've had one of these, same sort of Spec, servicing by FJClub, and with 87K on the clocks It now lives in Hungary and with over 95K still goes very well indeed. These bikes are legendary for touring and are absolutely rock solid. The mechanic at FJ Club is racing one which puts out 150 or so BHP at the rear wheel! He as now won the Forgotten Era Racing Championships. A winner this bike and fully loaded by the looks of it.
Thanks for the kind word, an yeah everythin u sed is spot on, there are lads on our forum with bikes clockin up to 100k still doin what they do, and yeah (Phil) also known as the dock is racing, he now has a team of 3 i think, 2 other lads are racing with him (both on FJs)...
