2day sidecar meeting

The Retford club are looking to put a 2day sidecar only meeting on at Cadwell 17th 18th October 2009.

Cyril who runs the club would like to know if there is any interest in such a meeting and if it would be supported by racers and marshalls.

We asked the sidecar paddock were they would like the event to take place and for some reason Cadwell came out top. Can't think why.

Work & wife (OMFG) permitting I'd be up for some of that- ballast if anyone's desperate, marshalling otherwise.

Can't wait to see some of the big wheelers going up the Mountain- they were very 'interesting' (in a behind the sofa peeking through your fingers did they get round way) to watch at Mallory.

2 more people up for the Marshalling job & certainly 1 for the taxi ride!! I think I am a little too unfit for the sidecar but I have a daughter who would really like a go. 3 wheels are safer than the 2 she usually comes to Cadwell on (eh Gary!?!?)

I will send Cyril an email to offer 2 more Clique members!

Ron and i would definitely be up for 2 days as marshals.If i can get my new knee joint fitted in time would like to try a taxi ride.Roll on next october.

Yep me and nathan are in for marshaling, I would like another trip in a sidie as well, maybe a fund raiser for the clubs charity of choice, few of quid a go?

with regards to the plans for the meeting i really hope it gets the go ahead as it would be awesome to have 2full days of slideys round the uks best track
