In the mid-80's Kawasaki had two midweight GPz's on sale in UK, the GPz500 (parallel twin) and GPz550 (inline 4cyl).
I'd guess, if yours is a 4cyl, it will be a Jap-market sleeved-down variant of the GPz550, that was gray imported to the UK during the 1990's.
If so, it should share most parts with the UK 550cc bike. A more 'cooking' version of the GPz550 was the GT550, which had shaft drive, was always metallic maroon, and was a courier favouritte for yonks - usually until they burned a piston.
The GPz550 was a great bike, went like stink and handled well, sought after and cool in the 1980's.

I vagely remember a Kawasaki 400/4 possibly Jmodel not ninja, they made them to compete against the much better Honda 400/4....
