A mate has just bought one of these (pictures to follow when he/i get round to it) and we're having some trouble finding out anything about it. The logbook declares it to be a KR250B2, it's on a G plate. Is this a KR1, KR1S, or something completely different? It's tricky to work out by looking at pictures on the web, since this bike has fibreglass fairings for whatever reason, whether it's been raced (likely) or crashed (equally likely) or both.
Can't argue though, 340 quid for a running (no MoT, but a battery and cleaning up the front calipers should sort that out) 250 stroker, bargain.

For now though, it looks a lot like this
though it has sliding tokico 2 pot calipers on the front, and the paint is different on the non OE fairings, and the cans are black.
Is there anything he needs to know about it? Are they monsters for blowing anything specific up? Speedo reads 27k miles, but who knows what with a completely unknown history.
