New National Superstock 600 team Longshot Bikebits4you.com Kawasaki unveiled two of its three-rider line-up as young guns Josh Wainwright and Brad Anderson.
The team was formed at the close of the 2009 season by Harry, has secured headline sponsorship from the aftermarket motorcycle parts internet retailer, Bikebits4you.com ahead of the new season.
The team has elected to run with new Kawasaki ZX-6R machinery, after the marque triumphed at the hands of Jamie Hamilton in the Superstock 600 class in 2009. Team Manager Harry Corbett is no stranger to Kawasakis, after steering Jamie to his memorable title.
The championship was the culmination of four years’ hard work for the pair, and Harry is keen to continue the strong relationship with Kawasaki, and the development of the ZX-6R, with a new wave of young, determined, talented riders hungry for success.
“I am very hapy to be able to take such a strong team with young riders to compete at the highest level. We expect to follow Kawasaki’s championship win last season with some good results for the team and the manufacturer this year," said Corbett.
Both riders have already competed of this fiercely competitive series, having raced the return season for the class in 2009. With an impressive debut onboard the Kawasaki at last weekend’s Mallory Park shakedown test, both riders are confident of propelling the new team towards the sharp end, and strong top ten positions next term.
