We at GFB are in the research stage of offering a kit to transform the exceptional Aprillia RXV450 & 550 into a road race special.
Should this project get off the ground we would aim to offer the following;
1) A DIY kit supplied to customers with everything required to convert their own bike.
2) A fitting service, supply the bike and we undertake the fitting of the kit for the customer.
3) The supply of the fully converted bike, including all parts to convert it back.
Obviously we are talking race suspension, brakes, geometry, datalogging, good looking plastics etc.... priced in the region of 4 to 5 K depending upon spec.
I will not bore you with the benefits of using the SXV over a 450 single, however, I am interested in having feedback on exactly how many people would be interested in buying such a kit at some time in the future for either track days or to race.
