I'm after a Red Duke748s BP, S Reg or Younger with no more than 5000 miles, and a FSH. Cash Waiting.

Cheers.

And I bet now comes the lecture of how dodgy the electrics are, can't ride them for more than 5 mins b4 they break down or break yer wrists yada yada!!

It's either a 2nd hand Duke748 or a New GSXR600? What say you?

Well the way I see it, the Duke won't drop in value, just in quality bearing mind they stopped making the 748 last month. GSXR's are ten a penny and probably always will be!

I've got a 98 748 BP , thats coming up for sale (surrey,UK).
approx 5700 miles , just had valve checked and belts changed with 6000 mile service .

as for relliablity, i had it from 1100 miles and have only had one problem with it , it was a ducati warrenty repair for the rear cush drive rubbers , they move in there retainers and rub the chain adjuster , this is a known bug with ducati . but never bothered me.

(i am however waiting for the spyball alarm to come back from motrax , it's an italian alarm!)

but to compare it to a gsxr600..... well let just say the grin factor of the ducati wins allways....

........ but you have to ride it hard to keep with a modern 600 (+100bhp)
