Does anyone know if the YBR125 that india gets is the same as the UK one? If so why the hell does it cost us £2,499, and they get it for 1/5 of the price?

If I could get a brand new 125 for £500 I'd happily use that for a little all weather commuter and save the big bike for the weekends.

YBR125 Uk = YBR125 India + Front Disk + Better Aesthetics + 5th gear

so not a lot as such. might be less expensive to import one from Ind

^Agree. Also, Yamaha sells the R15 here (150cc variant).
