Spies needs to do better, Crutchlow and Dovi want a factory ride, Rossi might move from Ducati, and finally, anything could happen.

Thanks Lin for telling us nothing that we didn't already know.

What he is really saying is that Yamaha want Spies to stay on their bike to keep US sales bouyant.

I cannot see at the moment how Ben's the main choice behind Lorenzo???

This season:

6th, 4th, 5th, 6th, 3rd, 4th, 2nd.

Simply not good enough for a factory rider (whose not riding a pig of a Ducati)...

I think fluke has hit the nail on the head, Yamaha want Spies for his huge fanbase from his AMA days to go out and buy R1s.

He has had a terrible season so far, but a lot of that can be explained by bad luck and tyre problems that Rossi has also been hit by. I'm wondering if he is being hit by the tyre problems more than others due to his size, simular to Redding in Moto2. Just a thought

On a Tech3 CRT, AT BEST, as it is all he deserves. So many riders more deserving of the Tech3 M1 than him, including Redding.

Smith is an OK rider, but will never be anything special. Redding is by far the superior rider of the pair and I think the step up to MotoGP will suit his style much, much better too.

I don't know the details of Smith's 2013 MotoGP contract, but I'd bet Herve is going over it!

Yeah, signing Brad so early was a tad premature. It will be interesting to see what happens.

Before people start slagging Bradley off too much, please remind yourselves that the Mistral 610 has had NO development to speak of since 2010.

And Brad's still doing a sterling job on it.
