Judging from his stance and the bizarre use of the middle and ring fingers to apply the front break, I would say his bike is stationary and he is just posing for a photo

Looks like an MT350 they all have the same key to fit the ignition and a screwdriver works as well, it was designed this way for the army just in case they lost the key. So it does make them easy to steal. (and no I am not a bike thief, just Know a lot about MT350 and Armstrong 500's).

Looks like he is riding it to me unless there was a strong wind that day, look at his t-shirt! his braking technique is very strange, not seen that one before!

Judging by the missing right hand indicator and 'on the pee' left hand indicator, I reckon that bike may not have been returned to it's owner in the same condition it was taken.
About the only time I've known social media to be of any real use mind.

Congratulations... now a swift, street justice beating is needed for the offenders!

Re riding and brake lever.
Know him quite well and he lost his thumb and little finger in a freak yachting accident on the M1 (eastbound)just after Junction 28 Pinxton

Does beg the question tho: how long would it have taken plod to find the bike? Me thinks maybe never.
