Two laughing stocks in one photo. Choice.

That's a bit harsh.

As a sensible, comfortable form of city transport, any bike is a good choice.

So Harleys are technologicaly backward, so are a great many things in life that do the task they were designed to do well.

As for Tozeland, I'm not his biggest fan, but until you have half the skill that he still has, why not give him a break?

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!

James Toseland, really nice guy (met him a few times), but over rated and motogp highlighted that!

and your right, they are technologically backward, but ive been told Massey Furgesons are really good at ploughing fields

Doesn't look to comfortable for a pillion to me?

Why give a 2 time world champ all this abuse, jesus guys how many people can be world champ at any level, is everybody in MotoGP shit apart from the Rossi, Stoner and Lorenzo.

Very harsh and unjust, the guy was bloody good.
16/04/2012 at 18:54
Good words Mike, double world champ he is and nothing will take that away from him.
16/04/2012 at 19:51
I love the jealousy of idiots that could only win a wanking conteset have for a double world champion!!

James is a top bloke and great racer...but a HARLEY? geez
17/04/2012 at 13:12
There's always been something unbelievably gay about James Toseland
17/04/2012 at 14:12
Ahhh, the contemporay brit-biker definition of gay - anyone who doesn't feel the need to impress other men through continued references to huge bhp figures

Remember, the sooner you fall behind the more time you have to catch-up

Don't you just love all those armchair racers, too brilliant to have to actually have to prove it on a race track. Plus just because the guy is smart and doesn't look like he's been smacked in the face with a mallet, he must be gay, absolutely brilliant deduction. Give that tosser a fucking coconut! Still don't understand Toseland buying a Harley.

Apparently Troy Corser rides a HD too. In fact thats all he rides. If you think about it, when you've been racing sports bikes at top level like that, riding on the road wouldn't really give you a buzz anymore. Its just not fast enough. So a different form of riding is quite understandable.

Ride... Enjoy it
Superbike or Scooter... just ride
They are all fun. Some better at one thing than others... All better than cars.

It doesn't matter what it is... just enjoy the freedom.

Acknowledge the similarities... not argue about the differences.
Just get out, get on your bike, put some miles on it. Smile to yourself inside your crash helmet. Enjoy!

It will be interesting seeing Katie Melua balancing on the rear mudguard..

Otherwise top choice for a top bloke!

Indeed, it will be interesting seeing Katie Melua balancing on the rear mudguard..

Otherwise top choice for a sadly forcibly retired top racer.

pyndman has hit the snail on the leg. It's gotta be pretty fucking dull riding a superbike on the road after wringing ones neck round PI or wherever for most of your adult life.

Having said this, IMO, there's simply no excuse for a harley, AT ALL.

;)
18/04/2012 at 16:26
I've heard that James is a big 'Archers' fan and the only way he can replicate driving a tractor on the road, is to ride a Harley!
18/04/2012 at 16:49
pyndman is spot on... How can you compare a MotGP missile to ANY road bike?

Even an R1 must feel like a tractor after that - so why not a Harley?

I'm not a Harley fan, but I must admit it makes sense.

He doesn't NEED a superbike, and Katie will actually be reasonable comfy on the back of a motorised armchair like a Harley...

Why is there at least ONE cage driver every day that seems out to kill me?

HDs are brilliant for certain types of riding.
Beats the hell out of me why so many of you want to have a pop at a great former champion and an iconic motorcycle company.

Ah, Mr Stealth, I didn't see you there until you were gone.
