Yep, well done lads! Pull the rug out from under the courier industry, why don’t you? Take away the pride of some dispatch rider from earning a living. So another mouth has to be feed by our taxes via the dole. Why can't these freebie riders put their energy into fund raising, so folk can earn an honest living? Oh no, to easy and a lot more fun to go and do it for free themselves prancing around on inappropriate bikes getting their egos boosted the shallow minded.

Cabernet, wtf?! You really think that a handful of blood bikes is going to make a dent in the courier industry? Really?! I think these guys are doing a great job, and at the end of the day their volunteer efforts save the NHS having to spend money on transporting urgent supplies and samples.

I also don't ever remember seeing a courier bike with blues and twos.

Although I do have to agree, whilst I like the look of the Nuda as a bike, I'm really not entirely sure of its suitability as a blood bike. Maybe in the remote hills somewhere maybe, but Kent?

May be not in Central London, but across the country. There are less than 20 courier bikes running out of Manchester. The four blood bikes take 5% off the couriers income. Liverpool had no bike couriers last I know.
No it is not gonna take thousands off the dole, but if a few riders can get the benefit of earning a living with dignity and the job still gets done and the dole bill is reduced, surely this is better result for all.
My point is this kind of volunteer riding, only changes the problem. It does not solve anything. When you do someones job for free, you make life difficult for them.

I think you're gripe should be with Sir Tim Berners-Lee rather than a group of volunteers giving up their spare time to save the NHS money, the fact is it's the Internet that has buried the bike courier industry, documents don't need a bloke on a bike anymore which was the corner stone of the whole sector, or would the irony of blaming the Internet on the Internet have been strong for you?
