Nicked the pannier from BMW as well as the engine then...

F800R panniers, wheels, mirrors... ok pretty much an F800R with a F800GS frame, nice brakes & suspension, 20 more bhp & a 60 mile shorter tank range. Why put panniers on something that would need to call in at every petrol station on a trip?

you are mistaken on most fo those points.

Thanks for that Tom mo... it's so much clearer now you've explained it so comprehesively... ?

I'm guessing the small panniers are more for picking up some beans from the shop rather than touring.

If you're buying this bike too tour, you're a plank, it's not for that, but could do it if called upon. Plus, Hedgehog, why so negative?

Sorry Thomp... I pointed out the positives... 20 more bhp... better brakes & suspension (though Tom mo clearly thinks I've got most of my facts wrong...?)... the rest of my post is mostly realistic rather than negative (I didn't even mention the looks). I own an F800R & I was hoping it would be a bike I'd consider for my next one but with that tank range there's not a chance.

Well, it's just as ugly as the BMW, so...
