Silly Season has started early. I cant wait for Musical Chairs this year.

I think Ducati are now going in the direction Vale and JB want. I personally thing, and it's early days that Vale and JL will stay where they are, but I think they'll use it as a BIG chip when it comes to contract negotiation time.

Here we go indeed. Rossi to Norton with CRT bike. Lorenzo to spearhead single cylinder attack on updated 1000cc Matchless G50. Bradley Smith to switch Moto GP entry to heavily modified Raleigh Wisp, Dovi on a pushbike, Edwards on a Hydrogen powered Penny Farthing etc, etc...

Ah, Mr Stealth, I didn't see you there until you were gone.

I just signed in to say let you, Jimlin, know that I just busted a gut from your comment! Hilarious!!!

Moto GP is a joke thanks to Dorna. Please just watch WSBK and the BSB's.

Ok... That's a little harsh, I use to love the Motorcycle Grand prix. It's just the few years that have passed.. to see the best motorcycle event shot itself in the foot so many times! Enough is enough.

OK... here we go...

Stage 1 - MotoGP folds in a year or so after alot of high profile departures triggered by Casey's exit.

Stage 2 - All the money tied up in the GP paddock pours into WSBK along with the top factory supported teams and riders. The WSBK grid is massive with all the worlds best riders in one place.

Stage 3 - The lower running costs of a superbike team compared with prototype racing saves all the manufacturers a bundle and kickstarts the world economy.

Stage 4 - We get to see Rossi drive Biaggi insane for a couple more years.

Stage 5 - The world is saved by motorbikes and japan renames itself Honda in celebration of the magnificant world economic recovery.

Therefore Casey Stoner just saved the world.. But he's still in a mood that his kid was born on Rossi's birthday.

It must be that arm pump from no rumpy pump after his child being born.
JIMLIN has got it absolutely right.
Ducati had better pull their finger out though. Rossi will want to finish on top and although the prize is bigger if he turns the Ducati round, he will want to finish his career with good results.
Once the economic downturn is over CRT's will fade back into WSB and the other companies will return.

Lorenzo must be very happy though.

Does anyone rate Davidiotsoooso. He always seems like the dark horse waiting to become great?

"Possible" - he didn't say "probable" or "likely". Valentino should show us all how good his development skills are by starting his own team and running in the F1000 class. Perhaps Aprilia would supply him engines, and he may be able to get his good friend Carmelo to change the rules just a wee bit...

I think the use of the word 'grooming' when refering to Marc Marquez should be re-considered as it has other conotations!

He is brilliant though and he could take Bautista's ride at Gresini if Honda want him to. There could be a fair bit of musical chairs over the next few months.
Your say
