Hmm. I've just gone the route of the LeoVince SBK EVO II, with link pipe.

I'm having problems with the supplied CF heat guard binding on the fairings, it's the same item you have in your picture. (By a long way, it's at least 4mm proud!)

But it sounds like the LV, link pipe might sort it out by being somewhat closer to the swing-arm?
