Nice modelling... looks like he got bored working out where to route that exhaust. In keeping with Ducati designs but not so much so as to be called a parts-bin.

Tis tasty, not too sure the lights would be any good though. But still...9/10 for effort I reckon.

I can tell you from experience that 265 pounds is not realistic with any Ducati engine and most certainly not for 8000 Euros. It took an extensively lighten Ducati engine[ti rods, ti engine studs, ti engine mount bolts, aluminum oil relief plug, all ti fasteners, etc...] and a titanium frame and carbon body work to get a street able air cooled bike weighing 300 pounds.

My Honda Hawk weigh's 297#'s with a half tank of fuel and its water cooled... it only has 78 horse though.

Good idea piece and the concept is right on the money. What makes for a great sport bike for the roads and what makes for a great sport bike to win trophies are becoming divergent ideals. A light, supremely sharp handling bike with a power spread and delivery in the sweet spot of road riding is sorely missing. Ferrari makes great road cars AND great F1 cars but there's no confusion that anything resembling an F1 car on the street would be fun. Hat's off to this kind of thinking. Now make it or have Radical Ducati out of Spain do it. They pretty much are doing this bike in some fashion already.

The front looks like a honda 125, ie ive seen better.
the exhausts need to be under the seat thats a key thing about ducati's i love.
and the lower fairings look like they are hanging off.
it could also do with a passenger seat.

but i love the see throughness and open ness of the view.

looks good but lights are stolen from Audi's with LED running lights and the front look very similar to a Triumph Daytona 650....

if they made this, i would buy one immediately. looks lovely. even if it was 9 or 10 thousand euros, it is gorgeous, and weight loss in V-twins is the way forwards. There is no more power to get from the 1198's engine, hence it requires a redesign to get anything else out of it. just how it is!
