Not sure about the bike yet, but I'd have them on the 4x4. Could be very handy in that regard.

And I know Michelin have a similar set of prototypes under development, shown last summer on an Audi A4 (I think)
May be "OK" for commuting, but it will never make its way to the track. Extra weight and too few options for "pressure", which needs to change with temperature and track conditions... how are they going to do that with this model?

Michelin showed a similar system a few years back, with a flexible spokes inside the tyre arrangement, if I recall correctly.
