Curious to know what these are like on UK roads, cold mornings included.

I hope it's good, I've typically been a bridgestone man, I've had the 014/015/016 and also the 020/021. The 016 I found great for about 500 ish miles, then it kinda went 'off', after that it felt numb and I couldn't get the confidence to push it.

I've switched to Pirelli Rosso Corsas and absolutely love them so far, fast tip in and lots of feel.

I'll more than likely give these a go at some point though.

when I first got my hornet 600 ( 3 1/2 years ago ) it had a new set of Dunlop Qualifiers on them - I wasnt a massively experienced rider - and the qualifiers didnt give me masses of confidences..

So when they were thru I switched to the BT 16's - I had 3 sets of those which generally lasted me around 5 or 6 months..

switched to BT16 pro's after that - and I was as happy with those as the BT16's -

as they were wearing out I see the announcement for the S20's - and since I am an all weather rider, the talk of bonus wet grip seemed appealling

the first thing I noticed when I got them on was a difference in cornering - the bike didnt react the same when I lkeaned over on the familiar bend on the way home... It didnt take lomg to adapt tho..

For the next week Hong Kong experienced torrential downpours - and I must say I am impressed! the bike felt planted to the road! and as is customery for new tires I decided to give them a good work out. brilliant wet braking..

loving the profiles.. feel great!! cant say about longevity yet as only just got rid of the chicken strips!

the tread looks deeper than I remembered the bt16's to be

I'm happy!

Thanks for the great review. Just fitted the S20 to my 600rr. Will test it tomorrow and hope I can give good review.

These have quite a slow tip in that I found a little disappointing: a bit of a wrestle to get them thru a fast S-bend I previously zipped thru with ease running a Metzler Rennsport front. S20s seem nice and sticky but I miss the faster tip-in of my old Metzler. Hopefully I'll adjust but my bike feels significantly less agile and less flickable on these tyres. Only had these tyres 2 days and normally like Bridgestones (at least on the back) but already considering switching to a Racetec front.
