Endurance Racing 1981 Suzuki Katana

Team SCHÄFER KLASSIK MOTORSPORT

I've always got time for a Katana. I spotted this one on the Suzuki stand at the Intermot show in Germany.

It's owned and raced by two German guys; Martin Blug and Herbet Kaufmann and they race it across Europe in the Classic Endurance series and they do pretty well.

Here's the interesting stuff: 1135ccm 147bhp, 195kg wet (lighter than a BMW HP4), Keihin CR33 carbs, Yoshimura cams and full system. It's a gorgeous thing and - like almost all of the Classic Endurance bikes - in mint nick.

Easily the highlight of the Suzuki stand.
