I've seen several spelling mishtakes (good ol' Private Eye) published on MCN website - I guess they aren't as pressurised as those who work for a Fleet street newspaper, unless you work for The Guardian.

Still, I wouldn't own a Ducati either.

Whoosh!!! TWO taking the mick out of MCN's spelling? They want to have a look at themselves first.

From a brief glance through the latest issue we find:

P036 - 'serial' - should be 'cereal'

P094 - 'axels'  - should be 'axles'

P100 - 'sought' - should be 'sort'

P105 - 'sudo-knobblie' should be 'pseudo-knobbly'

P114 - 'untimidating' should be 'unintimidating'

P130 - 'whick' should be 'wick'

Put your own house in order first, people.

Too right. Reading through the various bike mags I often wonder what language qualifications the editors have. The spelling is poor and the use of grammar is terrible. It doesn't matter as such - TWO is still a good read - but whatever happened to proof readers?

About 5 minutes. My life is far from empty, mate, but I abhor the amateur standards which are starting to permeate our press. TWO is one of the sloppiest in this respect and it isn't difficult to spot the mistakes as you read through it. Unless you just look at the pictures, of course.

I did volunteer to be a proof reader for them, but it apparently fell on deaf ears.

How the fuck did you know all that without making notes/ highlighting the mistakes?

You need a night out.

Believe me, there are many more; that was only a brief selection. It's quite easy when you take notice of what you read.

I have had several nights out this week already, but thank you for the offer.
