Le Mans is about as historic a track as you can get. Would the MotoGP race live up to the location?
The race at Le Mans was a fairly strung out affair at the end of the day. Kudos to Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo but it's interesting this year to watch the racing now that the bikes seem to be on a more even kilter in power terms.
Yes Stoner is still up there on the Duke (the only rider up there on a Duke I might add) but with the bikes on a more even footing it really has been a more interesting start to the season with more riders up for the fight at the front and no-one running away with the title, well not yet anyway.
Jorge Lorenzo with healthy ankles - will he be even faster? Up to speed earlier in the race than he was in Le Mans, thats for sure. I never really liked Lorenzo in the 250s but he has seriously impressed me with his bravery and sheer grit over the last couple of rounds.
He didn't really claw 5s back on Rossi by the end of Le Mans since Rossi cruised over the line but he certainly made a mockery of his injuries. Impressive.
